At the core of PowerHub, the energy storage solution from enerfy, is the PowerBox, an advanced bi-directional power conversion unit. Bi-directionality means that the energy flow can go both ways, from grid to the battery and back to the grid, through the same power electronics. This makes the power electronics, compact, reliable and cost effective.

The powerbox is modular and many units can be connected in parallel. The desired capacity can be reached by adding the required number of modules to a cabinet.
The brain and communication center in the Powerbox is a gateway communicating with all elements within the system as well as the outside world for system monitoring and advanced control, enabling both local flexibility as well as the opportunity for coordinated and flexible fleet management.
Based on own internal measurements in the modules or the gateway, by set timing or by externals signals, the Powerbox can perform various services to support the grid or minimize the electricity bill.
